Upscale mini golf concept Puttshack coming to Scottsdale Quarter
Puttshack, a high-end miniature golf company, leased 25,000 square feet at Scottsdale Quarter and will open in late 2022.
The company is in the middle of a national expansion. The first location, in Atlanta, opened in 2021, and Puttshack is also planning locations in Chicago, Miami, Boston, Houston and Nashville.
The two-story Scottsdale location will include a dining menu and full cocktail bar in addition to four mini golf courses, and will have multiple private event spaces for parties with outdoor patio space on both levels. The company uses its patented Trackaball technology that keeps score for players during the game, rather than players keeping score themselves. The locations also offer different games at each hole, like beer pong or trivia games.
“Scottsdale’s young, dynamic and active community makes it a priority market for us, and we look forward to being a key tenant in Scottsdale Quarter,” Joe Vrankin, CEO of Puttshack, said in a statement. “As the leader in tech-forward social entertainment, we can’t wait to expand Puttshack’s presence in Arizona and other top-tier markets across the entire U.S.”
Mat Frocht and Robert Johnson of Emerging Concepts represent Puttshack nationally in their real estate decisions.
“At Scottsdale Quarter, we strive to bring unique, immersive social experiences to the community and Puttshack will provide exactly that and more,” Richard Hunt, general manager of Scottsdale Quarter, said in a statement. “The upscale entertainment concept complements our existing lineup of high-end tenants and elevated experiences, and we know the brand will find great success at our property.”
Puttshack is the second golf entertainment concept to announce plans to expand in Phoenix this summer.
