Here’s the current scoop as City North begins breaking ground on the 100 acres of land just North of the 101 next to High Street & Desert Ridge Mall:
Crown Development, which is based in Costa Mesa California, has been active in the Valley for many years developing the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale and redeveloping Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley. Their most recent endeavor has been the development of the 100 acres of North Phoenix’s Prime Real Estate. The plans set for completion in Spring of 2022 include:
- 2 million SF of office space
- 2,600 residential units
- 500 hotel rooms
- Tons of retail shopping allowing you the opportunity to enjoy Arizonas amazing outdoor weather and shop till you drop
Fox Restaurant Concepts has inked a deal to open a large-format Blanco Tacos & Tequila in 10,000 square feet of space which will likely provide plenty of room for games and family fun.
City North is expected to create 16,000 jobs during construction and an additional 19,000 jobs once in operation indicating a fantastic increase of employment opportunities in our Town.
